VENEER COLLECTION
An experimental product that can shift functions; from a vase to a small container/tray, developed under the concept of “Remnants more beautiful than lumber”. This product is made with a minimum amount of material of thinly sliced wood, bent to shape and fixed with metal fittings. It allows conserving natural resources and also creating a naïve aspect by the bent form. In hopes to protect the environment, it uses all natural dye, which is harmless for the environment from the production process until disposing.

「製材より美しい端材」をコンセプトに、木材を薄くスライスした最小限の材料を曲げて金具で留めることで立体的にし、小物入れや花瓶という機能性を生み出す試みです。資源を大幅に節約する事ができ、曲げる事による情緒性も同時に生み出しています。また環境に配慮する為、色は全て天然染料で染め、製造工程はもちろんのこと焼却や土に還しても環境に有害でない物を目指しました。
